Have you killed it in your MDR or SDR IC role in sales? Are you currently a team lead or manager that has a passion for coaching? Then this role might be for you!
We are looking for a German or Danish speaking Sales Manager to join our team in Lisbon to head up DACH and Nordic markets! We're looking for a person who is an entrepreneur at heart. Someone who sees that growth sales is a top priority and customer satisfaction as a highway to achieve this. You would agree that our people are the strongest assets to bring in and retain revenue. You have the passion for hiring, coaching and developing high potential hybrid sales people to make our Business Development Associate (BDA) team the most successful it can be.
For this, you'll need to use your own experience on executing sales and customer retention strategies. If this sounds like a match so far? Super, let's keep going. We want to tell you a bit more about Pleo!
First… tell me about the SoHo segment and the BDA team? SoHo stands for Small Office, Home Office. Today these are companies with less than 10 FTE and represent a large chunk of our Pleo customer portfolio. We have a strong PMF across our markets & a strong brand in this segment. We service Inbound Marketing Leads by qualifying them and directing them down the right journey: either qualifying for our AEs or closing the deal ourselves. Our commercial motion works in tandem with the product experience: we do product-led sales, onboarding and growth! We intervene strategically at the right moment for select customers that need it.
The BDA team (Business Development Associate) is a group of passionate, early career professionals, starting out their careers in sales and onboarding from our Lisbon hub. The role is hybrid: We work utilising technology and automation to serve our customers at scale from the moment they signup to completing their onboarding journey.
We believe you'll be right for this role if: Have at least 3 years of IC experience and at least 1 year of management experience in MDR or SDR teams in the DACH or Nordic markets.Have a strong track record in B2B Tech Sales and have knowledge of customer retention strategies in the SMB/velocity space salesFluency in English is a mustProficiency in German or Danish is required. Pleo itself means 'more than you'd expect', and it's been the secret to our success over the last 8 years. So it's only fitting that we'd pass this philosophy onto our customers to help them make the most of their finances.
We think company spending should be delegated to all employees and teams, that it should be as automated as possible, and that it should drive a culture of responsible spending. Finance teams shouldn't be siloed from the rest of the organisation – they should work in unity with marketing, sales, IT and everyone else.
