Job Description
Determining hardware and software solutions;
Resolving technological problems;
Diagnosis and correction of flaws;
Resolving network problems;
Installation and configuration of hardware and software;
Interviewing clients to swiftly determine the source of their problem;
Giving customers fast and accurate feedback;
Qualifications
Experience in application support;
Experience and ability to undertake technical analysis and identify impacts (functional/technical);
Experience working with apps that have several interfaces to other applications;
Comprehensive understanding of RDBMS principles;
Knowledge of at least one database (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server);
At least 2 years of experience dealing with Unix and its standard commands;
Basic understanding of DataStage TX and Java (preferred);
Basic knowledge of PowerShell Scripts;
English Proficiency;
French Proficiency (plus).
