Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
Building guest relationships through a swift, professional and highly personal service.
Explaining and promoting hotel facilities, outlets, and services to guests and providing information regarding local attractions and activities.
Promoting teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
Responding appropriately to guest complaints and informing the supervisor of major problems, complaints, disturbances, or dissatisfied guests.
Promptly and safely transporting luggage to and from guest rooms, securing, tagging, and storing luggage at the guest's request.
Regularly inspecting and clearing hotel entrance and surrounding areas of litter and debris.
Performing other duties as assigned, which may include accepting dry cleaning from guests and securing it for pickup by a dry cleaning company; delivering clean laundry or guest mail/messages, or sundry items to guest rooms, and responding to other special requests.
