Join our IT TEAM and bring your expertise to shape world-class digital solutions. We are seeking a motivated Backend Developer with a strong command of Python and Django to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of professional experience in backend development, with a proven record of designing and maintaining scalable backend systems.
As a Rhino, you will: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend services and APIs using Python and Django.Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.Implement security and data protection measures.Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards and best practices.Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in backend development.Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a back-end developer, specifically in Python and Django.Solid understanding of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.Familiarity with version control systems like Git.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Proficiency in English (at least B2 level).Available to work remotely (preferably based in Porto or northern Portugal).Nice to have: Knowledge of AI tools or technologies.META offers you: Health insuranceEnjoy 22 days of vacation + Birthday + Carnival + December 24th & 31stHBO and Spotify subscriptionsExclusive discounts and offersJoin the crash!
