What you can expect in this role Develop business-critical applications that meet the demanding functional and non-functional requirements of the internal clientsActively contribute to the modularization and modernization of existing business applications, handling tasks from designing the architecture in the team to the actual implementationContribute to the transformation of highly reliable and scalable on-prem services into modern business applications running on Kubernetes in the cloud as a first stepWork with a varied tech stack including, amongst others, Websphere, Spring Boot, Informix, Kubernetes, AWSCollaborate with your team to find feasible solutions and try out new technologies to meet the constantly evolving requirements of the media landscapeCollaborate with your team to discover innovative solutions and explore cutting-edge technologies, adapting to the ever-changing demands and continuously evolving media landscape Your essential experience and education Proven knowledge in Java development and SQL Databases (MySQL, Oracle, Informix), as well as familiarity with distributed version control and CI/CD (e.g., Gitlab)Previous experience with Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Testing), JPA and Kafka Message QueuesExperience with AWS and containers such as Docker and/or Kubernetes is a plusFamiliarity with the integration and connection of interfaces (REST, GraphQL APIs) or front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Angular, React, Vue.js)Agile mindset with eagerness to deliver customer value with every increment, continuously learn from each other and keep improvingFluent in English (Portuguese and/or German language proficiency is a plus) What's in it for you?
