Our products are designed to cater predominantly to professional and sophisticated retail traders in the crypto ecosystem. Our team is distributed between London (business) and Lisbon (engineering).
We seek a highly experienced and talented Full Stack Developer (Backend / Blockchain Focus) to join our team. While this is not a requirement, we will prioritize professionals with experience in building trading technology.
Your Responsibilities: Backend/Frontend Development & Security:Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services related to the protocolEnsure data consistency, fault tolerance, scalabilityDevelop APIs for front-end consumption and third-party integrationsConduct thorough code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testsStay updated with the latest security threats and ensure our protocol remains resilient against attacksContribute to frontend development and support integrations of web3 frontends with backend and smart contractsProtocol Design & Smart Contract DevelopmentDesign, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts on EVM Blockchains (Arbitrum, Ethereum, Optimism, Base, Polygon, others)Ensure all smart contracts are optimised, gas-efficient, and adhere to the highest security standardsLiaise with external audit firms for periodic reviewsCollaboration & Leadership:Collaborate with the product and research teams to design novel DeFi products and servicesWork closely with other engineers, researchers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth developmentMentor junior developers and foster a collaborative and innovative development environmentProvide clear documentation and training materials for the teamMinimum Requirements: Strong backend experience with Golang & Distributed SystemsSome exposure to solidity developmentStartup experienceMust be willing to travel to Lisbon once a month
