Job Description & Summary PwC is hiring a IT IMAC Computer Technician (m/f/d) for June 2024, to integrate its brand new international office in Porto. This role offers a dynamic environment where you can apply your technical expertise, organizational skills, and communication abilities to contribute effectively to our IT operations.
Be a part of our team of solvers where you will (specific responsibilities include but are not limited to):
Provide day-to-day IT support to local users, including assistance with onboarding, leave management, software and hardware support, and device swaps.
Lead and execute local various projects, such as laptop and smartphone exchanges, Windows/Office updates, application packaging, definition and deployment of our GPOs and security tools.
Diagnose, track, and resolve incidents and service requests according to the defined SLAs in the ticketing tool.
Create support materials for training the new joiners.
Ensure communication with the Team Coordinator and colleagues.
Comply with information security best practices and guidelines.
Raise major incidents to MIM (Major Incident Management).
Oversee the integrity of hardware inventory, including laptops, desktops, monitors, and accessories.
Monitor software licenses.
Directly interact with users, which requires not only technical proficiency but also effective communication skills and the ability to remain resilient under stress.
Manage relationships with resellers and local stakeholders to ensure and coordinate deliveries and on-site interventions.
Support the Service Desk, System, and Network teams for second-level user support or local infrastructure projects.
Stand-in for the Facility Coordinator on-site, when he/she is not available, and support with technical tasks when the need arises.
Maintain a good collaboration with the extended Luxembourgish Asset team, focusing on the Portuguese office, its users, devices, and infrastructure.

At least 3-5 years of previous relevant IT experience including using systems such as :
Windows 11
Office 365
SCCM
iOS
Mac OS
Laptop hardware maintenance
Software installation
Ticketing & inventory software
Networks and system concepts
Windows Server
Ability to interact diplomatically with faculty (at all levels), in Portuguese and in English. Speaking French will be an asset.
Ability to perform the software and laptop hardware installation and management.
Ability to work independently and without immediate supervision (demonstrate excellent organizational skills).
Time management skills including being able to handle a complex, varied workload with the ability to lead and manage if requested.
