Position:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Field Engineer to join our team specializing in electric mobility. The ideal candidate will have 0-2 years of experience in a technical field and a passion for advancing sustainable transportation. This role involves overseeing the maintenance and servicing of EV chargers in and around Porto, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. The position involves both office and on-field work, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Commissioning:
Coordinate the set-up and commissioning of new EV charging stations.
Ensure proper installation, functionality and documentation.
Provide training and support to partners on using the equipment.
Maintenance:
Oversee regular inspections and maintenance of EV chargers.
Verify that all equipment meets safety and quality standards.
Ensure technical issues are effectively troubleshooted and necessary repairs are made.
Manage logistics and spare parts.
Office Duties:
Update maintenance logs and service records.
Coordinate with the technical team to plan and schedule maintenance tasks.
Participate in training sessions and technical meetings.
Monitor network KPIs.
Promote a culture of cost-effectiveness for the benefit of the end-users.
Be quality and customer-experience obsessed.
Requirements:
Experience:
0-2 years in a technical or maintenance role, preferably in the electric mobility or similar industry.
Education:
Technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
Skills:
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and external providers.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
Other Requirements:
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel around Porto and Portugal.
Basic understanding of safety protocols and regulatory standards.
Flexibility to work outside regular office hours when necessary.
Fluent in Portuguese and English, Spanish and Italian are a plus.
