RESPONSIBILITIES
Whistleblowing Hotline and Internal InvestigationsProvide support in the monitoring and management of SBM Offshore's SpeakUp channel (whistleblowing hotline), ensuring all reports are logged and addressed in a timely manner.
o Provide support in internal investigations of reported Compliance concerns, collecting and analyzing relevant information, interviewing relevant parties, documenting findings accurately and preparing investigation memos.
o Prepare communication initiatives to enhance awareness on Speaking Up and encourage a culture of transparency and integrity.
Business Partnering, Compliance monitoring and implementation:Act as a compliance liaison to various departments, providing advice and support on Compliance-related matters. Assist in the development and implementation of Compliance policies and procedures. Conduct training sessions to educate employees on Compliance topics and promote awareness of Compliance standards. Provide support in the process of third-party risk management, including pre-contractual due diligence and monitoring of third parties throughout the whole relationship cycle. Stay up to date with local laws, regulations and industry trends, and provide support in adjusting internal practices accordingly.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in Compliance, Legal, or a related field, in a company, consulting firm or law firm
Fluency in English (written & oral) is mandatory
Advanced skills in MS Office & IT tools in general
Knowledge of the energy sector is a plus
Strong sense of ethics, discretion and confidentiality
Strong adaptability and diplomacy
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Good judgment and organization
Good interpersonal and communication skills
