Offer DescriptionPublic notice Ref.ª CDL-CTTRI-188-SGRH/2024— Doctor Paulo Jorge dos Santos Gonçalves Ferreira, Full Professor and Rector of the University of Aveiro, hereby announces an international public notice for recruitment in the form of an Uncertain Term Work Contract under the Portuguese Labour Code for 1 (one) position for a Doctorate equivalent to Assistant Researcher.
This position will involve research activities in the scientific area of Economics, focusing on Environmental Economics and Natural Resources, to promote environmental sustainability and resilience.
The position is part of the H2020 ERA Chair "BESIDE - Institutional, Behavioural, critical and adaptive economics towards Sustainable Development, management of natural capital and circular Economy" (Grant Agreement 951389), funded by the EU, call H2020-WIDESPREAD-2018-2020-6.
Admission requirements: Doctorate degree in Economics, preferably with specialization in Environmental Economics, Natural Resources Economics, Bioeconomy, or related areas.Alternatively, a doctorate in Management or Finance with specialization in Environmental Management, Natural Resources Management, Sustainable Management, or related fields is acceptable.Foreign candidates must prove the recognition or equivalence of their doctorate degree by the time of contract signing.Formalisation of the applications: Applications must be addressed to the Rector of the University of Aveiro and include:
