Your tasks:
Supporting buyers in implementing the supplier, bundling and market strategy as part of the global orientation of purchasing.
Optimization of the supply chain in terms of costs, liquidity, quality and logistics.
Independent implementation and evaluation of global tenders and requests for quotations.
Determining stock levels and requirements.
Creating and tracking framework agreements and orders to ensure the availability of goods.
Conducting price and condition negotiations.
Supplier management.
Tool process management (tool ordering, approval process) (Ariba Spend Management Workflow).
Implementation of agreed savings measures, e.g. coordination of phase in/phase out.
Creation and coordination of change requests, special releases and scrapping.
Reporting and tracking of purchasing figures and master data maintenance in SAP.
Regular communication of system-supporting evaluations to the Global Procurement team.
Invoice verification.
Intensive communication and coordination between international suppliers and internal departments (QM, R&D, scheduling, category management, internal plants, etc.).
Taking on smaller projects with a few new technical products up to series maturity within the Stage Gate process.
Your profile:
You have relevant professional experience in purchasing.
You have negotiation skills, communication skills and a confident demeanor.
Very good knowledge of MS Office products and knowledge of SAP (e.g. R/3 an advantage).
Fluent Business English skills are required.
