Your tasks:
Supporting buyers in implementing the supplier, bundling and market strategy as part of the global orientation of purchasing;
Optimization of the supply chain in terms of costs, liquidity, quality and logistics;
Independent implementation and evaluation of global tenders and requests for quotations;
Determining stock levels and requirements;
Creating and tracking framework agreements and orders to ensure the availability of goods;
Conducting price and condition negotiations;
Supplier management;
Tool process management (tool ordering, approval process) (Ariba Spend Management Workflow);
Implementation of agreed savings measures, e.g. coordination of phase in/phase out;
Creation and coordination of change requests, special releases and scrapping;
Reporting and tracking of purchasing figures and master data maintenance in SAP;
Regular communication of system-supporting evaluations to the Global Procurement team;
Invoice verification;
Intensive communication and coordination between international suppliers and internal departments (QM, R&D, scheduling, category management, internal plants, etc.);
Taking on smaller projects with a few new technical products up to series maturity within the Stage Gate process.
Your profile:
You have relevant professional experience in purchasing;
You have negotiation skills, communication skills and a confident demeanor;
Very good knowledge of MS Office products and knowledge of SAP (e.g. R/3 an advantage);
Fluent Business English skills are required.
