Assistant Manager in a professional cycling shop.Join our passionate and supportive team in Cais do Sodre, LisbonWe are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Manager to aid in leading our team and overseeing our bicycle services and sales. The Assistant Manager will ensure an outstanding level of customer satisfaction, co-create a thriving work environment as well as help fulfill the overall mission of the company. The ideal candidate is a good leader with excellent organizational skills and has a passion for cycling.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure an outstanding customer experience;Foster a thriving and productive work environment motivating the team to meet service and sales goals;Assist managers in guiding the organisation's activities;Personality, Skills and RequirementsPrevious retail or customer service experience is preferred;Basic to advanced knowledge of and passion for cycling;Proactive, self-motivated and highly organised;Good judgment and problem-solving skills;Excellent written and oral communication skills;Good math and analytical skills;Proficient in word processing applications, spreadsheets, presentation software and social media management tools;Strong sales abilities, experience with e-commerce platforms and cross-selling are very welcome;Fluent English; additional languages are a plus;A high school diploma or equivalent; further education is a bonus;Knowledge of bike products is highly beneficial;Must be available to work weekends and public holidays.Working hours are 9 am - 6 pm with a 1 hr lunch break.
