THE ROLE: ASSISTANT FINANCE MANAGER The Assistant Finance Manager will work closely with the Head of Finance and is responsible for supporting the FP&A function, supporting financial analysis, working with Anaplan, group reporting and managing key relevant stakeholders with the business and group framework. Your new day-to-day will involve: 1. FP&A Reporting and Support: Assist in financial planning and analysis activities. Support in the preparation and execution of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Collaborate in the analysis of financial data and trends particularly related to Shipping and Payments 2. Anaplan Implementation and Maintenance: Work with Head of Finance to support the implementation and maintenance of the Anaplan platform for financial planning and analysis. Ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the Anaplan models and data. Collaborate with other team members in the use of Anaplan. 3. Ad Hoc Financial Analysis: Conduct various ad hoc financial analyses as required. Analyse revenue and expense data, with a focus on customer wise analysis. Support with ARR Revenue reporting and customer analysis Identify trends, variances, and data anomalies. Be able to extract reports and data from external intelligence tools such as Power BI 4. Accounting and month end support: Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Liaise with shared service accounting team and accountant to ensure timeliness and accuracy of entries Provide ad hoc accounting and audit support as needed. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and financial standards. 5. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Head of Finance and other finance team members. Communicate effectively with various stakeholders to provide financial insights and support. 6. Continuous Improvement: Seek ways to improve financial processes and systems
