Your mission, roles and responsibilities Position Summary:
The role of an Assistant Controller in serial life is to manage the financial aspects of squeeze controlling, which is the net equation of our sales and purchasing actions, in order to guarantee their reliability and accuracy and partner actively with the business teams to properly forecast them. The Assistant Controller participates in all controlling milestones including budgeting, month-end reporting, rolling forecasts, and Mid Term Plan. The Assistant Controller supports ensuring the proper application and execution of the Faurecia policies in all the steps. The Assistant Controller supports and leads different projects to enhance system automation, master data accuracy as well as coaching our different partners regarding squeeze actions and reporting.
Responsibilities:
Act as a business partner and provide recommendations:
o Propose action plans resulting from relevant analysis in order to achieve profitability.
o Drive with the business team action plans to ensure actions are properly and timely closed to achieve our forecast and budget.
Provide reliable financial/controlling information:
o Consolidate squeeze information of our different entities through the different forecast processes (budget, forecast, weekly…)
o Manage reporting process ensuring reliability, consistency, and transparency.
Support and coach our partners regarding squeeze actions and their reporting.
Ensure that the Sales & Purchase prices information are consistent with the Faurecia policies, correctly and regularly updated in the systems and if not, support on corrective actions to drive the team to update timely while protecting our financials.
Identify and analyze the variances between the budgeted, forecasted, and actual results and support the closure of the left to do actions.
Assist CBU to implement profitable actions (through VAVE, repricing…) to drive VCM convergence.
Propose continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction.
Capitalize on knowledge and share best practices/lessons learned across the organization and within the site.

Your profile and competencies to succeed Minimum education level:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Engineering.
Professional Experience:
3-5 years of experience.
Technical knowledge in one or several products and manufacturing processes.
Skills and competencies:
Ability to provide qualitative and reliable information, and to work on a project management basis.
Ability to manage uncertainty and resist stakeholder pressure.
Demonstrated communication skills, autonomy, synthesis, and engagement.
International mindset.
A proactive approach to work and optimistic energy.
Good interpersonal skills.
