Job Description APPLICATION SUPPORT ENGINEER
Working from Portugal integrated with the IT Finance Department, you will join the Resources and Skills Department as an Application Support Engineer to ensure the common tasks of the role.
Available to travel within and outside Portugal, work remotely, and in a hybrid model (office and remote working).
Mission : Aim your efforts to manage the best procurement management ecosystem with 2 applications – Scoops and Skipper.
Guarantee optimal performance and operational monitoring over the allocated period by ensuring responsiveness to evolution requests, corrective maintenance requests, restoration of service, and compliance with defined SLAs:
Assess the risks that may arise during your work and on the scope of responsibility.
Ensure objectives and deadlines of deliveries are met, respecting SLAs and regression testing within the pre-determined test coverage ratio.
Identify and request essential resources.
Develop the functional or technical macro-solution (depending on your field) by seeking, if necessary, the required resources and expertise.
Validate the solution and the functional or technical hypotheses (depending on your field).
Update deliverables specific to the operation of RUN according to norms and standards.
Manage or participate in meetings and committees related to your scope of intervention.
Contribute to communication around your profession:
Ensure communication to various stakeholders at the frequency defined with customers (business lines and manager).
Organize documentation/knowledge base of the solutions within your scope, keeping it updated with the most frequent questions from clients and bug fixing information.
Prepare technical documentation.
Adopt a continuous improvement approach, reducing incidents.
Challenge the team and share ideas.
Qualifications Mandatory:
University graduation in an IT-related field.
At least 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
Experience in purchasing and management control.
Experience in application production run support, acting as a Technical Leader.
Accounting scope knowledge would be a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain collaborative work relationships at all levels, including: Meeting management.
Publicly presenting, explaining, and learning business matters.
Producing and following up on meeting outcomes and inputs (meeting minutes, requests, business analysis, etc.).
Incident management.
Tools: Service Now, Jira Lanta, Oracle with PL SQL knowledge (advanced level); PowerBI knowledge will be a plus.
Optional:
Previous background as a Technical Leader in software development.
Knowledge of Purchasing Software, e.g., Ivalua.
Experience with Oracle DB.
Experience with test tools and frameworks.
