Req ID: Vila Nova de Cerveira, PortugalMain accountabilities, responsibilities, and deliverables:Product Engineer responsible for the design and development of restraint safety components following customer and ZF standards.Technical lead of simultaneous engineering meetings with customer, manufacturing plant, suppliers, and other project peers.Main technical contact to coordinate samples and testing needs, including test reports, problem-solving, analysis, and countermeasures to improve and validate the product design.Ensure fulfillment of Project Engineering requirements (customer/internal/legal).Ensure fulfillment of planning milestones and deliverables under Product Engineering responsibility in coordination with the rest of the teams from the beginning of the project until the closeout (release of design definition and integration into the car, Design Reviews, Design Validation Plan and Report, D-FMEA, prototype samples, and test reports).Full involvement in change management and problem-solving during the project development.Ensure fulfillment of product and Engineering development costs.Required skills and experience/main competencies:* Engineer's degree or similar.* Experience in product development, problem-solving analysis, as well as in manufacturing and assembly processes.* Understanding of technical drawings and technical documents.* Good in communication and coordination with people for planning, execution, and evaluation.* English and Portuguese fluent (spoken and written).* Spanish and/or German language skills would be a plus.Why you should join us?You will work in a varied, innovative work environment, in an International team; Full of challenges and high-level professional activities; Competitive compensation and benefits; Continuous learning opportunities; Discounts for employees with several partners; Flexible working hours.#J-18808-Ljbffr
