Safety Advisor: Colep Portugal S.A.Job Reference: Colep Portugal S.A.Employment Type: Full-TimeJob Reference Date: 26-12-2024Location: AveiroSector: Industry / ProductionJob Description:The function of Safety Advisor comprises the inherent responsibilities of supporting the business in ensuring a proactive approach to a positive safety culture and prevention of major accidents and professional diseases.Main Activities and ResponsibilitiesCollate/issue and publish accident statistics on a monthly basis.Fulfil accident report forms and promote accidents' investigation to identify basic/root causes. Promote the tracking of corrective actions until completion.Promote and implement risk assessment teams to undertake scheduled risk assessments.Approve, design, and deliver safety training programmes where appropriate.Conduct quarterly meetings with operational teams to follow up on defined KPIs and corrective actions.Define and approve Personal Protective Equipment for workers.Collaborate in internal and external audits and inspections.Review and recommend safety procedures and amendments to the Policy.Analyze legal compliance and propose corrective actions to address any issues.Collaborate in the preparation of legal documentation to be sent to the authorities.Assist in emergency plans, drills, and training of fire brigade teams.We Are Looking ForUniversity degree (Engineering).Professional Competencies Certificate (CCP).Strong communication skills.Hardworking and highly motivated individual, willing to be part of the team.English language proficiency.Good IT knowledge, including Excel.Good planning and organizational skills.Immediate availability to start the job.What We OfferContract for 8 months (replacement of Maternity Leave).Integration in a multinational environment, with continuous opportunities.Very good working environment.Continuous learning.If you relate to this profile and would like to join a truly international environment, please follow the instructions below on how to apply.
