Job Impulse is recruiting a Android Developer - Biometric Registration and Verification (M/F) Location: Santa Maria da Feira - Presencial
Tasks:
- Develop and enhance biometric registration and verification features within Android applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, back-end) to define and implement new biometric functionalities.
- Integrate and maintain biometric APIs and third-party biometric libraries.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot application issues, focusing on performance optimization and reliability.
- Conduct thorough testing, including unit and functional testing, to ensure high-quality and secure biometric features.
- Contribute to technical discussions, offering insights and expertise in biometric technology.
- Stay updated with industry advancements in biometric technology to apply best practices and new features in development.
Requirements:
- Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven Android development experience, with at least one published Android app.
- Proficiency in Android SDK, Java, and Kotlin.
- Strong background in biometric technologies, including fingerprint and facial recognition.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs for backend connectivity.
- Understanding of Google's Android design guidelines and user interface standards.
- Proficient in version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with performance and memory tuning tools and continuous integration practices.
- Experience with push notifications and cloud messaging APIs.
