American Sign Language Vri Interpreters (Rid Certified)

Description: LSA Video is actively seeking experienced ASL Interpreters to work remotely with our state-of-art VRI call center located in Horsham, PA. Candidates must possess American Sign Language (ASL) and/or English transliteration as well as spoken English skills. PT positions available.
Job Responsibilities: Interpret between American Sign Language (ASL), and/or English transliteration and spoken English, through web-based VRI systemAnswer inbound VRI sessions in a timely mannerAssist clients with basic troubleshooting (refer to manager or IT department if necessary)Provide superior customer serviceAll other duties as assigned by Manager (may include, but not limited to, video and web based ASL recorded translations)Qualifications/Experience: Maintain, as applicable, compliance with any national, state, or local licensure and/or certification requirementsAdhere to the RID Code of Professional ConductAttention to detailStrong oral and written communication skillsProfessional and positive phone manner with clients from all types of businessesMaintain a flexible work schedule to meet the 24/7/365 demands of VRIFamiliarity working in a windows environment (MS Office suite, remote connections—gotomypc, etc.)RID certification and proof of current Pennsylvania registrationExperience with VRS or VRI systems (preferred)PC troubleshooting skills preferredMinimum of at least a high school diplomaWillingness to learn and take on more responsibilities as neededAttention to detail, while working in a fast-paced environmentAt least 5 years of interpreting experience"Can-Do" attitudeLSA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
