What are we looking for? As a Medical Validation Manager you will be responsible for developing and executing an accurate validation framework to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of our AI products when interacting with healthcare professionals. You will play a critical role in maintaining the high quality of our AI products, collaborating closely with our data & AI team and clinical content teams.
Responsibilities:Design validation frameworks and Execute Test Plans – Design detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured validation frameworks, including clinical test cases based to test our AI products' performance.Quality Assurance and Control – Implement quality assurance protocols to maintain high standards of quality for all AI systems and models. Identify, record, and document thoroughly any bugs or performance issues encountered during testing.Data Verification and Model Validation – Verify the quality and integrity of the data used for training and testing AI models. Validate the AI models accuracy, effectiveness, and adherence to specifications.Performance Monitoring and Optimization – Monitor AI systems post-deployment to identify any issues arising in a live environment.Regulatory Compliance and Documentation – Ensure that all AI testing and documentation practices comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. This is critical in a compliant healthtech startupContinuous Improvement and Education – Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in AI, QA methodologies, and relevant technologies. Continuously seek to improve QA tools and processes by incorporating new technologies and methodologies where applicableWho you are:PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as Pharmaceuticals, Medicine or similarExtensive experience in clinical research or clinical trials, ideally involving digital health technologiesInterest for the latest AI technologiesProven track record of research in a relevant area, with publications in respected journalsMinimum of 3 years of experience in a research or industry role focused on model validation or related areasFamiliarity with international regulatory requirements and standards for medical devices or digital health applications is a plusMethodic and with attention to detailBasic statistical analysis skillsCollaborative mindset, with the eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environmentWorking proficiency in English
