The job
The AI & Data Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeingdata and AI solutions that address our clients' needs, utilising ABPs standardmethods, techniques, and tools. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful deliveryof integrated AI and data systems, with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and security.The AI & Data Architect plays a key role in bridging the gap between business goalsand technical solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to providecutting-edge data and AI-driven strategies.
Main responsibilities
Design and Implement Solutions:
o Design and implement AI & Data solutions to address complex businesschallenges.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologiesinto existing systems and workflows.
o Lead the development and deployment of machine learning modelsand AI algorithms.
Ensure System Performance:
o Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of AI & Datasolutions.
o Oversee the design, quality, security, and governance of dataarchitectures and databases.
o Optimise databases for performance, ensuring data integrity andaccessibility.
Innovation and Research:
o Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learningtechnologies.
o Conduct research and experiments to explore new AI techniques andmethodologies.
Technical Leadership:
o Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
o Develop and maintain documentation for AI & Data projects andsolutions.
IBM Watson.x and Design Thinking:
o Utilise IBM Watson.x capabilities, including AI, data, and governance, toenhance AI solutions.
o Apply design thinking principles to AI & Data solution development andfacilitate design thinking workshops.
Client Consulting:
o Provide solution consulting to clients, including needs assessment,solution design, and implementation support.
Must Have:
o +10 years in AI, data architecture, or related fields.
o Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and AItechnologies.
o Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
o Experience with AI frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch,or Keras.
o Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
o Experience with data modeling tools and techniques.
o Knowledge of data warehousing solutions and ETL processes.
IBM Watson.x and Cloud Platforms:
o Extensive experience with IBM Watson.x tools and platforms, including
AI, Data, and Governance.
o Working knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure,Google Cloud).
Consulting and Design Thinking:
o Proven experience in solution consulting, including needs assessment,solution design, and implementation support.
o Certified Design Thinking Practitioner with experience in facilitatingdesign thinking workshops.
Soft Skills:
o Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and LLMs.
Strong understanding of industry-specific data requirements and regulations.
Knowledge of AI ethics and responsible AI practices.
Proven track record of successful AI & Data project implementations
