Your new role Provide legal advice and support on labor and employment law matters, including employee contracts, workplace policies, and dispute resolution;
Conduct legal research and analysis to stay updated on changes in labor laws and regulations and advise management on compliance requirements and best practices;
Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related agreements and documents, such as employment contracts and severance agreements;
Represent the company in legal proceedings before labor tribunals and courts, advocating for our interests and seeking favorable outcomes;
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop effective strategies for managing labor-related issues and resolving disputes.
What you need to succeed Bachelor's degree in Law;
Master's degree preferred;
Certification in labor law or relevant field is highly desired;
At least 10 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on labor and employment law in an in-house environment;
Strong knowledge of Portuguese labor laws and regulations;
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
Fluence in English;
Experience and competence in other areas of law, such as company law and intellectual property, as they may complement and enhance the candidate's ability to provide comprehensive legal support, will be valued.
