About the team:
At Web Summit, the Advertising Team is central to our growth. We craft innovative and creative advertising campaigns across multiple platforms, reaching and inspiring potential Web Summit attendees globally. Collaborating closely with Web Summit's insights team, we've built a new and unique approach to advertising. This approach has allowed Web Summit's events to grow from 400 attendees in 2010 to 130,000+ attendees across 4 continents in 2023.
What you'll achieve at Web Summit:
You'll drive growth by advertising across our various marketing channels, with a key focus on Google Ads.
You'll drive campaigns from planning to execution and beyond in order to meet key performance indicators.
You'll analyse data, allocate budgets, produce reports and optimise campaigns accordingly to improve return on investment.
You'll collaborate with the Data Science team to create and implement new and disruptive solutions to advertising.
You'll optimise marketing budgets to maximise CPA and efficiently scale new customers.
You'll collaborate with the Insights and Content Marketing teams, integrating campaign strategies to deliver consistent messaging to our customers across the globe.
You'll also collaborate with the Startups, Partnerships, Investors, Media and Production teams to plan and implement campaign strategies for each attendee type.
You'll discover the importance of A/B testing and learn how it influences the decisions made by the entire team.

You have a strong interest in digital marketing, advertising and content marketing, but you're not just an advertiser – you're a creative individual in general.
You're naturally curious and want to experiment with new and creative ideas.
You're data driven and enjoy working with numbers and spreadsheets.
You're inspired by technology and innovation.
You can spot trends and keep up-to-date with the latest ideas in tech and marketing.
Skills and abilities we're looking for:
Bachelor's or master's degree, or relevant experience.
Proven advertising experience across Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, and LinkedIn Advertising. Show us what you've done already!
Data driven background with experience in Data Studio or similar.
A motivated strategic thinker who appreciates a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, but works really well in a team.
A desire to be part of a fast and varied business environment where flexibility is a must and direction can change very quickly.
A passion and curiosity for the world of technology, as well as for digital and social media marketing.
Photo and video editing skills are a bonus, customer relationship experience and fluency in other languages is an advantage.
