The Role
As an Administrative Analyst for Health & Benefits, you will materially contribute to clients' benefits strategy by supporting the management of the carrier bid, procurement, and negotiation process, as well as a variety of activities related to the maintenance of the portfolio, premium calculations, and invoice reconciliation.
What will you do?
To support the delivery of that strategy, some of your tasks will be to:
Undertake data (financial, membership, invoices) processing and analysis to support program design, using agreed upon tools, standards, and techniques
Design and distribute bid requests (RFP) to target carriers / vendors
Collect, summarize and analyze proposal findings
Prepare placement / renewal deliverables for clients
Support the production of benefits plan design and reporting publications
Process, project and transaction management
Support policy renewal activities
Support claims management
Monthly reconciliation of commissions and performing commission estimates
Follow regulatory procedures as defined by the originating country
You will have the ability to significantly grow your benefits acumen, and financial, client, and project management skills by working on cutting edge projects alongside leaders in the industry
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
Preferable but not mandatory 3 years or more, of experience working with health and benefit plans and their financials, doing life and/or health insurance operations processes (e.g. invoice and billing, policy administration, renewals, claims, enrolment).
University degree (preferably in a program with a heavy emphasis on mathematics or business)
Proficient in Spanish
Experience in Front Office activities and customer management
Experience with data entry, validation, and manipulation
Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
