Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to handle U.S. client accounts, focusing on invoice processing, payment management, and vendor relations for American healthcare and insurance clients.
Key Responsibilities Invoice Management: Review and verify invoices for accuracy, proper authorization, and coding, ensuring timely processing and approval. Payment Processing: Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers, while ensuring accurate reconciliation with account records. Vendor Relations: Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and account adjustments to maintain positive relationships. Expense Tracking: Monitor and record expenses, ensuring they are in line with company budgets and U.S. client policies. Accounts Reconciliation: Conduct monthly reconciliation of accounts payable ledgers, ensuring all invoices and payments are accurately recorded. Audit Support: Assist in gathering data for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with client and company financial policies. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions for easy access and retrieval. Requirements Experience: 1+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting, preferably within a healthcare or insurance setting. Technical Skills: Proficiency with accounting software and Excel, including data management functions. Attention to Detail: Meticulous in checking invoices, expenses, and payment records. Analytical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot discrepancies and identify trends in account data. Communication: Strong English skills (B2 or higher) with professional communication ability. Organizational Skills: Effective time management to handle multiple accounts and deadlines. Problem-Solving Ability: Proactive approach to resolving vendor issues and payment discrepancies.
