About the role
Our Accounts Payable Payments EMEA team, composed of 9 people, is integrated in the Procurement Service Line department and focuses on delivering accounts payable operations in collaboration with other Accounts Payable teams, as well as other departments, such as Treasury.
As an Accounts Payable Operations Representative, you will perform transactional operations on a day-to-day basis, according to operational procedures, respecting service, quality and customer satisfaction targets to support the whole Procurement department. You will contribute to the success of our Global Business Services and have a positive impact on the whole Solvay Group.
You will be accountable for:
Processing payment runs and reconciling intermediary accounts
Supporting the team to control and monitor payment data
Analyzing payment issues and proposing actions to avoid them
Performing controls following corporate procedures and compliance rules
Following appropriate supporting documentation
About you
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Management, or Economics
Relevant work experience in the field is a plus
Fluency in English
Knowledge of Google Tools and Excel
Good analytical and problem-solving skills

About the pay and benefits
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While Portugal's base pay reasonably expected for this role is 1100 to 1400 EUR, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience.
