About the role Our Accounts Payable Payments EMEA team, composed of 9 people, is integrated in the Procurement Service Line department and focuses on delivering accounts payable operations in collaboration with other Accounts Payable teams, as well as other departments, such as Treasury.As an Accounts Payable Operations Representative, you will work on performing transactional operations on a day-to-day basis, according to operational procedures, respecting service, quality and customer satisfaction targets to support the whole Procurement department. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the success of our Global Business Services and have a positive impact on the whole Solvay Group.You will be accountable for:
Process payment runs and reconcile intermediary accountsSupport team to control and monitor payment dataAnalyze payment issues and propose actions to avoid themPerform controls following corporate procedures and compliance rulesBe able to follow appropriate supporting documentationAbout you Relevant education degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Management, or EconomicsRelevant work experience in the field is a plusFluency in EnglishGoogle Tools and Excel knowledgeGood analytical and problem-solving skillsBehaviors: ProactivityTeam-playerAbout the pay and benefits Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While Portugal's base pay reasonably expected for this role is 1100 to 1400 EUR, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience.
