Discover the role:As a Team Leader you'll be responsible for a team of 5-7 people in the Accounting & Tax Department.
You will ensure that the quality of the deliverables and the workflow in the team follows TMF standards, while building high-level relationships with feeders, clients, and third-party suppliers.
You will also be accountable for the correct and timely submission of tax compliance, statutory reporting, and corporate reporting obligations of the team's portfolio.
You would be the visible head of your team, responsible for solving service delivery issues while offering a helpful hand for its solution, ensuring that the team presents the best image of TMF in every situation or event.
Key responsibilities:Overview of the successful execution of all end-to-end Accounting activities for TMF's clients, ensuring work is completed in a timely and accurate mannerPreparing monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting based on a pre-defined reporting pack at our client's requestOverseeing month-end and year-end closing activities, from balance sheets and cash account reconciliations to financial statement preparation, while reviewing all reconciliationsReviewing prepared VAT returns, withholding tax returns, corporate income tax returns, and other filingsMaintaining up to date with changes in local accounting and tax legislation and preparing correspondence on the changes to inform clientsCoordinating activities and work with multiple other teams in TMF GroupAllocating and managing the workload of junior team members, assigning or re-assigning tasks to them, and monitoring day-to-day progress of delivery to ensure outputs are delivered on timeReviewing the work of junior team members ensuring accuracy, providing feedback and approving draft documents for execution or filingProviding guidance and support to junior team members with complex work, supporting them with career development and acting as a point of escalation.Ensuring all new clients are properly onboarded adhering to TMF Global Onboarding StandardsAbout you:Degree in Accountancy or other business-related disciplinesMinimum 5-6 years of related work experience is preferredCertified Public Accountant is a must for this rolePrior team leading experience is preferredResourceful, independent and strong problem-solving personalityExcellent written and communication skills, with a strong ability to plan ahead and organize yourselfProficiency in MS Excel and MS Word is essential, along with experience in local accounting systemsWhat's in for you:Flexible schedule (Entry between 8:00 and 10:00 AM, end time between 5:00 and 7:00 PM)60% Working from home to distribute as you wish!Home working allowance + economic compensation to build up your home office.Full Health insurance.Meal & transportation allowance22 vacation days + Birthday LeaveEnglish Lessons with a teacherCasual Dress CodeIf you are open to discovering new opportunities, enjoy working in an international environment where you can learn, develop a career, and meet new people, all while maintaining a great work-life balance, this is the opportunity for you!
