HUGO BOSS is looking for an "Accounting Specialist Portugal" for the finance department in Portugal to join the team, based in our Lisbon office.

Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch break) Friday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (1-hour break) What you can expect: The hired person will support the company's finance department in Portugal as an Accounting Specialist in Portugal.
Main functions of the Financial Accounting Specialist:
Bank deposits. Vendor invoices and payment postings. Customer invoices and collection postings. Customer DSO management (payment defaults and delays). Bank reconciliation. Retail audit and clearing postings. Asset invoices and payment postings. Legal support (Finance Department). Tax duties and payments. General accounting postings. Support for forecasts (handling the TM1 forecasting tool). Other general office duties and support to the finance team and other departments in achieving KPIs. Support to Local Management and the company's Financial Director in terms of performance and cost tracking. Your profile: University education or Higher Vocational Training in accounting administration or similar. Master's degree in Accounting. Previous experience in a similar position for 3-5 years. Experience in the standard monthly cycles of a structured company. Knowledge of the premium retail market and fashion is a plus. Strong financial background and full understanding of a company's financial statements (profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow). Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards is also an advantage. Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. Structured and focused on process management. Team player. Ability to create a high level of interdepartmental cooperation. Proficiency and knowledge of the SAP Financial environment. High level of English (highly valued). Motivated, proactive, and independent. Native in Portuguese, residing in Lisbon.
