Your role will involve preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and collaborating with various departments to maintain financial integrity. Key duties and responsibilities include: · Prepare accurate and comprehensive financial statements within stipulated deadlines, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. · Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making processes. · Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information for reporting purposes. · Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. · Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports. · Provide support to regular monthly closing activities. · Reconcile subsidiary ledgers and schedules against the financial reports and propose adjustments as applicable. · Participate in ongoing system implementations and ensure financial data are captured accurately. May perform user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed. · Support external audit processes at the group and subsidiary level by providing necessary documentation and explanations. · Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and reporting requirements. · Contribute to process improvements to enhance the efficiency of financial reporting procedures. Job Requirements: · Must be a CPA with a degree in Accounting · At least 5 years of experience with end-to-end processing of transactions to financial reporting · Team player and excited to learn new things. · Good attention to detail and ability to perform self-checks. · Advanced MS Excel user and working competence in using accounting systems. · Must have experience working in a bank or auditing banks. · Some experience in an audit firm is preferred but not mandatory. · Willing to embrace and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
