The company is committed to sustainability and diversity policies and seeks to strengthen its team with an Accounting Manager (m/f).
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for establishing financial statements, ensuring monthly reporting and closing.
The main tasks are:
Oversee the monthly closing process to ensure its integrity.Track transactional operations (payables, receivables, travel & expenses): invoice processing, payments, expense claims, and dispute resolution.Handle accrual entries and manual journal postings, set up fixed assets in SAP.Review depreciation schedules and payroll entries.Ensure accurate intercompany reconciliations and validate balance sheet and income statement accounts for accuracy.Generate accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) reports, including aging analysis.Participate in physical inventories of assets and stock.Liaise with auditors and ensure tax compliance in close relationship with external advisors.Prepare consolidation reports for the parent company, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.Initiate and oversee payment campaigns and reconcile bank accounts.Track local subsidy files and group funding.Ensure conformity with Internal Control principles.Ensure accuracy of several declarations: VAT, Intrastat, CIT-Modelo 22, IES, and others.Profile: Degree/Master's in Accounting, Management, or Economics.Experience in similar roles (5 to 10+ years) – Industry sector experience is a plus.Valid Chartered Accountant certification.Proficient in analytical accounting.Strong knowledge of MS Office tools, particularly Excel.Mandatory experience as a SAP FI user; experience in information system migration is valued.Strong logical reasoning and analytical thinking skills, responsibility, organization, and adherence to deadlines.Fluent in English (written and spoken); French is a plus.
