Job Summary:
Ensure compliance of financial accounting and controls of the business according to global policies and procedures. Will be responsible for reconciling balance sheet accounts , managing bank accounts , cash-flow forecasting , supporting budget , month end reporting processes and preparing financial reports to meet tax and audit requirements. Manage the day-to-day processes of the finance team (P2P/ O2C/A2R), ensuring that relevant controls are in place and adhered to. Supervising the assistant accounts (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Account to Report) and as a member of the finance team, the person will work very closely with other team members and provide cover where necessary.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
Monthly financial analysis and reporting for the business to agreed deadlines of financial and managerial consolidation Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss.
Ensure the business meets all of its (statutory and group) responsibilities including annual audits, accounts and prepare necessary supporting documentation for annual and tax return filings (CIT/VAT/local tax etc to advisors).
Produce monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc reporting analysis as required by the business.
Responsibility for ensuring reconciliation of all balance sheets accounts on a monthly basis, both performing as well as liaising with other team members to ensure these are performed and any discrepancies are followed up and resolved in a timely fashion.
Implement cash management strategies and produce periodic cash flow statements.
Responsibility for cost center management .
Responsibility for the accuracy, reconciliation and control of the fixed asset register for the business on a timely basis and Leasing treatment under IFRS.
Responsibility for the capital expenditure process for Europe ensuring the Group guidelines are met and relevant supporting appraisal analysis is completed for authorization.
Support annual budgets and forecasts if required.
Work closely with other team members and will provide cover where and when necessary.
Perform any other reasonable duties required.
Partnering with local management /Main stakeholders (HR/Customer Service).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
Preferred certification such as ACCA, CPA, RA, CMA, CIMA.
Experience in a German company preferred.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES:
5+ years experience in a multi-national financial reporting environment.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Advanced computer skills on MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
Experience using SAP is an advantage.
Excellent communications skills, oral and written.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in a matrix organization.
Ability to direct and supervise.
