Accounting & Finance Trainee
Our Finance team is looking for an Accounting & Finance Trainee to join them in the upcoming weeks. This position is set for a dynamic finance professional looking to have a close contact with businesses and gain relevant cross-financial work experience.
What role will you play?
Expand knowledge and support the Finance team through its several core processes, namely, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Financial/Business Controlling;
Assist in preparing periodic financial reports, by developing and utilizing spreadsheets, databases, and other software applications;
Assist the team during budget processes;
Analyze profit margins and other key performance indicators;
Prepare ad-hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders;
Adhere to the company's financial policies and procedures and suggest improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions.
The ideal candidate requisits:
University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field;
Eligible for professional internship;
Solid Microsoft Office knowledge, particularly Excel;
Experience with ERP and data analysis software is considered a plus;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in Portuguese and English;
Analytical, problem solving mind;
Flexibility and ability to work in a changing environment;
A proactive hands-on attitude;
Processes and detail orientation, with a strong focus on quality;
Team player spirit, motivation and resilience;
