As a partner of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, we are seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to join our finance team and support our accounting and tax operations.
Key Responsibilities: General Accounting: Record daily accounting transactions, manage bank reconciliations, and maintain financial records.
Invoicing: Issue and manage invoices for clients and suppliers, ensuring proper application of taxes and compliance with regulations.
Taxation: Assist in preparing tax returns, including VAT and withholding taxes, ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
Month-End Closings: Support the monthly and annual closing processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Document Management: Organize and file accounting and tax documents efficiently.
Audits: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary accounting information.
Requisitos Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1+ years of experience in accounting, ideally in the hospitality or construction sectors.
Knowledge of invoicing, tax filings , and month-end closings .
Familiarity with Portuguese tax regulations (e.g., VAT, withholding taxes).
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, SAGE) and advanced Excel skills.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
