Job Description Summary: We are Vector Renewables, an international renewable energy consulting company. As an independent advisor, we support our clients over the life cycle of a renewable project through three lines of business: asset management, technical advisory services, and financial and legal advisory services.
As well, we are part of the Nadara Group: a global player in the field of renewable energies, which develops, designs, builds, and manages plants that generate clean energy. We provide highly specialized energy management and downstream services to both energy producers and consumers while we use our know-how to manage third-party assets from a technical and administrative perspective.
Job Description: We are looking for an accounting and reporting senior specialist who will be responsible for the preparation and management of the administrative, financial, and tax issues and accountancy of the companies under management.
Main Responsibilities
Act as the main point of reference for specific clients, ensuring a high quality of service and meeting all requests from clients on a timely basis.
Develop a good understanding of industry-specific practices including Power Purchase Agreements, construction and operational processes, applying technology-specific accounting practices.
Prepare VAT returns on a monthly and quarterly basis, and assist with accounting and tax queries as required.
Issued and received invoices registration.
Preparation and submission of the applicable taxes.
Project Finance management including relation with the Banks and budget preparation.
Banks movements registration (payments, receivables, tax liquidations, loans repayments).
Preparation and submission of financial reporting to the client including main KPIs.
Controlling of the deadlines of loans repayments.
Banks reconciliations.
Accruing of the projects' incomes.
Accruing of the main expenses: Insurance, land lease, depreciation, O&M.
Documentation management (physical and digital archive).
Preparation and deposit of Annual Accounts and official books.
Key Requirements
Accounting, financial, and tax knowledge of small and medium companies.
2-5 years experience.
SAP knowledge is a plus.
Qualified with experience in accounting for renewable assets is a must.
Good communication skills.
Be able to meet deadlines under pressure scenarios.
Strong aptitude for math, attention to detail.
Ability to organize their work independently and as part of a team.
English fluent.
Studies
Economics Degree or Business Administration.
