For our Plant in Amarante, near Porto, we are looking for an Accountant.
The purpose of this position is to execute, lead and control of all accounting tasks related to the function, under the supervision of the Finance Manager.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR ROLE:
Financial accounting (general, debtors, creditors) for the Portuguese entity
Preparation of monthly, quaterly and annual financial statements
Treasury management (Cashflow forecast, payments preparation and review)
Balance Sheet and P&L analysis
Reconciliation of inter-group transactions
Preparation of monthly consolidation package to Headquarters
Preparation of VAT statements and other Tax statements
Introduction, monitoring and improving strengthen of financial and accounting procedures
Support and assistance to Finance Headquarters & subsidiaries
THE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING
Several years of experience in accounting/finance department
Mandatory knowledge from SAP or equivalent ERP (mainly FI module)
Knowledge and application of Portuguese accounting standard
Strong knowledge of MS Office tool (especially Excel) with interest in Power BI
Ability to communicate in English , both orally an in writing
French is a plus
