For our Plant in Amarante, near Porto, we are looking for an Accountant. The purpose of this position is to execute, lead and control of all accounting tasks related to the function, under the supervision of the Finance Manager.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR ROLE: Financial accounting (general, debtors, creditors) for the Portuguese entityPreparation of monthly, quaterly and annual financial statementsTreasury management (Cashflow forecast, payments preparation and review)Balance Sheet and P&L analysisReconciliation of inter-group transactionsPreparation of monthly consolidation package to HeadquartersPreparation of VAT statements and other Tax statementsIntroduction, monitoring and improving strengthen of financial and accounting proceduresSupport and assistance to Finance Headquarters & subsidiariesTHE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING Several years of experience in accounting/finance departmentMandatory knowledge from SAP or equivalent ERP (mainly FI module)Knowledge and application of Portuguese accounting standardStrong knowledge of MS Office tool (especially Excel) with interest in Power BIAbility to communicate in English, both orally an in writingFrench is a plusEnthusiastic, dynamic and flexible personalityTeam spirit, communication skills and open-mindednessVersatility, rigor, precision and autonomy in the workGood organizational skills, logical approach and systematic way of workingA keen mind and a practical sense of numbers
