You will join our Finance CoE in Lisbon and support accounting and reporting activities with a focus on foundational accounting tasks.
This entry-level role is designed to support operational growth within Ferring while providing a path for skill development in a dynamic environment.
We seek candidates ready to build their finance careers.
Your day at FerringReporting and Administrative Support:Generate basic financial reports to support the accounting team in tracking performance and quality.Provide administrative support to senior accountants, such as organizing files and managing documentation.Assist in compiling data for internal stakeholders as required.Identify process improvement opportunities within BPO workflows for better accuracy and efficiency.Daily Operations Support:Accounts Reconciliations.AP/AR/A2R analysis.VAT reconciliation and submission.Local Team support.Others as requested by the TL/Business.Documentation and SOP Updates:Assist in updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect current practices and improvements.Document changes in processes based on feedback from senior accountants and the BPO.Ensure SOPs are clear, organized, and accessible to all team members and stakeholders.Learning and Development:Engage in cross-functional initiatives to drive incremental improvements.Engage in training and mentorship programs to build accounting knowledge and familiarity with processes.Work closely with senior accountants to gain hands-on experience in review processes and quality assurance.Behind our innovation…There's youBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or relevant coursework in accounting.1-2+ years of relevant work experience or internship in accounting.Basic understanding of accounting principles and strong attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) and English.A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.People come first at FerringGet inspired from our commitment to advocate for everyone's right to build a family, no matter who you are, where you live, or who you love.Our inclusive support package – "Building Families at Ferring" provides equal and accessible policies for all employees who wish to start their family journey, ensuring a global standard, irrespective of location and role.
