About you: As an Accountant at Rauva, you will play a critical role in enabling Rauva's rapid growth as one of the leading financial super-apps in the Southern European market. You will provide accounting services to our premium users. We are looking for tech savvy modern day accountants that will become true advisors to our customers. Your Responsibilities Handle inquiries and requests from our premium customers and address their needs regarding accounting, fiscal, social and payroll topics effectively Proactively stay on top of accounts, making sure that the customers complete necessary milestones to stay financially compliant. Handle day to day accounting tasks, classify and record documents in accordance with accounting regulations. Manage administrative procedures and other associated tasks. Develop procedures for monthly / annual closings. Prepare and analyse the management support information (report). Review and implement tax obligations, particularly VAT and corporate income tax (IVA, IRC). Handle payroll services. What's your ideal background? Accountant with 3+ years of experience in accounting for small & medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), ideally from inception Strong knowledge of Portuguese accounting standards and IFRS Appetite to work in tech / startups Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, ability to provide excellent customer experience to users Fluency in English (B1/B2 +) and Portuguese is a requirement Based in Lisbon, Portugal The hiring process for this role: 1st interview: Culture fit 2nd interview: Competencies & Technical Assessment 3rd interview: Final interview Final decision/ Feedback Join the Rauva mission to make entrepreneurship easily accessible to everyone.
