About the role
AM Online is a team focused on the maintenance (L3) of Vodafone Portugal services, where the main responsibilities are the stability of the environments, ensuring the minimum possible downtime and the analysis of reported problems within the contracted SLAs.
Our team does not develop projects, it only does bug fixing in some applications, but it requires a lot of code analysis to identify problems. We have on-call support, where a team member is responsible for being contactable for a week and resolving problems that arise outside of working hours.
We are looking for a person with high pro-activity and resilience.
In this team the person gains a high knowledge of telco business and applications architecture.
As a part of your job, you will:
Incident management
Problem/Change management
Monitoring activities as required to ensure production environment is operating as expected.
Evaluate, identify, and execute the necessary preventive activities to avoid production issues.
On call support
Bug Fixing
What are we looking for?
Good Java Skills
Knowledge of web architectures and services (HTTP, SOAP, REST, JSON)
Knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft PL/SQL
Knowledge of HTML and CSS
Knowledge of JavaScript
Knowledge of Shell/Bash Script
Knowledge of Unix
Knowledge React JS
Hibernate
Knowledge of Spring
