.The Abbott Ambassador is responsible for driving sales efforts for Diagnostics and optimizing Abbott systems utilization to maximize profitability and improve customer satisfaction. Major accountabilities Full responsibility for sales quota including forecasting and target performance achievement within the region Drive profitable growth by initiating, developing and/or delivering unique diagnostics solutions that result in improved outcomes and benefits for both the customer and Abbott Develop sales planning for own area of responsibility Analyze sales, market and competitive data to develop sales strategy Analyze impact of market trends and factors on customers Support new product launches, evaluate market potential Monitor, measure and report progress against defined execution goals Build sustainable customer relationships and leverage them to drive profitable new sales Optimize Abbott systems utilization to maximize profitability and improve customer satisfaction Support service team to maximize uptime by providing troubleshooting as appropriate Educational background Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor's degree in life sciences or medical technology is preferred Requirements / Work experience Proven track record in a similar position supported by management and customer references Strong commercial experience, commercially driven Collaborative enterprise thinking Strong solution selling and relationship building skills Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues The base pay for this position is N/A JOB DESCRIPTION: Abbott Ambassador Location – Norte/Portugal Primary objective of the position The Abbott Ambassador is responsible for driving sales efforts for Diagnostics and optimizing Abbott systems utilization to maximize profitability and improve customer satisfaction.
