.Senior QA Automation Engineer - Growing FinTech Company About: My client is a rapidly expanding FinTech company specializing in delivering cutting-edge technology solutions across various industries, including blockchain, energy, and enterprise-level financial services. Founded in 2015, they have a growing team of 75 professionals spread across London, Portugal, and remote locations globally. This role is focused on a high-stakes trading systems development project for a major enterprise client, who is handling millions of dollars of traded value daily. This is the company's largest project, with a dedicated team of 9 developers and 5 QA engineers, and they are looking to bring in more talent to elevate the platform further. This role is only available to candidates in London, Canary Wharf who can work a hybrid model (with 2-3 days office based). This role cannot provide any sponsorship. Role: We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join this dynamic and ambitious team. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of an enterprise client trading platform. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and PMs to create and maintain automated test frameworks and ensure the platform continues to perform at a high level. This position will require strong coding skills, especially in JavaScript/TypeScript, and experience in start-up and enterprise environments. Requirements: 3+ years of experience in software QA and test automation for web or non-web applications. 3+ years of coding experience with JavaScript/TypeScript. 1+ year of experience with Playwright. Start-up experience is highly valued. Exposure to working with enterprise-sized clients and large-scale projects. Proactive and autonomous individual with a strong sense of initiative. Customer-focused, with the ability to deal effectively with clients. Fintech or more specifically, trading firm exposure would be highly valued. Nice to Have: Experience working with high-volume, high-availability, and high-stakes enterprise systems. Experience building and/or testing REST and WebSocket-based APIs. Experience with trading applications in production. Performance testing experience with tools like K6, Artillery, or similar. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, ensuring the quality and performance of the trading platform. Collaborate closely with the development and QA teams to innovate and create new features for the trading platform. Assist in scaling the platform to allow the client to expand into new markets. Continuously improve the testing processes and contribute to the platform's overall stability and success.
