Hamilton Barnes is exclusively partnered with a leading Pan-European Exchange that has recently set up a state-of-the-art Security Operations Centre in Porto, Portugal.
They are looking to recruit an enthusiastic SOC Engineer with experience in the key technologies they have implemented within their SOC to provide L1/L2 Support.
The role is working on a 12 month Freelance contract, working hybrid out of Porto on a 24/7 shift pattern.
Responsibilities: Evaluate trending cyber threats and promote prevention/detection measures
Critical analysis of existing security controls
Assisting with fine-tuning security controls
Assisting with Incident handling activities
Skills/Must have: Experience with Microsoft Sentinel as a SIEM Tool
Good knowledge of Security Monitoring tools like Crowdstrike
Compliant with security best practices and guidelines - OWASP, NIST, CIS
Experience with Microsoft Defender - Cloud App Security, Threat Management, Advanced Threat Protection.
Benefits: Hybrid working - 3 days per week in the office
Full 12 month contract with extension options
Salary: €200-220 Per Day
