RESPONSIBILITIES
Multi-Storage Product: Build and operate large-scale products on top of multiple data storage solutions like HBase, Kafka, Postgres, Redis Data-Warehouse Operations Expert: Rely on large-scale data-warehouse solutions like Databricks, Snowflake and BigQuery Cloud-Native Orchestration Specialist: Operate cloud-native orchestration tools like Dagster, Airflow, and Jenkins Deep Learning Serving Innovator: Design, and implement state-of-the-art deep learning serving using Tensorflow and Pytorch Secure API Implementation: Implement and maintain secure RESTful APIs to interact with Nexar Platform and underlying services Container and DevOps: Work with container technologies and DevOps tooling like Docker and Kubernetes Automated Deployment: Use fully automated deployment system from the branch level to a full running remove environment.
REQUIREMENTS Technical skills & qualifications
Have world-class experience building distributed backend systems at scale
Are well versed in AWS infrastructure and architectural best practices.
Worked with or implemented data pipelines, from ingestion to serving, with technologies such as Kafka, Postgres, S3 / GCS, Spark, and Databricks/Snowflake.
Ship top-notch Java / Go code to expose the power of data pipelines and can own a feature from conception to production
Familiar with a technology stack that includes experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, ElasticSearch, Kafka, Chef, and Terraform.
Experienced first-hand principles and trade-offs of software engineering, like algorithms, concurrency, asynchronous & reactive processing, distributed systems. Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals such as algorithms, asynchronous & multi-threaded processes
Familiar with modern architecture and engineering best practices: microservices, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, incident response
Ability to climb up and down the stack between backend, DevOps and research tasks.
