We are currently looking for a new member for the Conceptual Design & Architecture team to join us in the position of Architect . Working Place: Sonae Sierra's Central Offices in Lisbon
Requirements: Master's degree in Architecture. 10 years of professional experience in a similar role. Experience in managing teams would be a plus. Fluent in English (mandatory). Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) and MS Office. Interested and up to date on the new design trends. Strong design and presentation skills. Visual awareness and an eye for detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Communicative and collaborative. Responsibilities: Engage in captivating architectural and design explorations, sketching and analyzing imaginative concepts; Drive the implementation of architectural projects, encompassing graphics, lighting, and landscaping, from inception to structural realization; C ontinuously seek out and identify opportunities for enhancing projects, receiving and evaluating proposals from various internal and external stakeholders of Sonae SIERRA involved in ongoing ventures. This aids in supporting the development of new projects or revising existing ones when warranted; Provide guidance to project managers, offering expert advice for both ongoing projects and potential prospects. This involves contributing to the conceptual development of projects and monitoring the progress of ongoing endeavors; Oversee the work in progress, ensuring adherence to the original conceptual vision and project quality. Critically assess and propose alterations or novel solutions as necessary; Analyse and curate material samples and devise optimized design solutions tailored for projects in the conceptual or execution phase.
