Our department, Modularized Nacelle, has sites in Denmark, Portugal, and India.Responsibilities As a member of our team of dedicated Engineers and Specialists, you will be responsible for the design and integrity of the Next Generation Nacelle structure. Your tasks will encompass a variety of design and optimization activities, including: Engage with all relevant stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on design requirements. Translate top-level specifications into detailed building block requirements Develop and design interfaces to other systems, ensuring seamless integration Incorporate a value chain perspective in the design functionality Conduct design analyses, including bolts and welds, fatigue assessments, and reliability calculations, with a focus on lifetime estimates based on data Assess design risks and safety concerns Develop and optimize tools used internally to enhance design processes Work closely with experts in other engineering disciplines, such as structures, electrical, loads, and control Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all design activities In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to bring a spirit of innovation and critical thinking to our projects. Qualifications M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field Minimum of 10 years of combined relevant experience in the following areas:Design and development of dynamic mechanical systems Finite Element Analysis (FEA), including proficiency with Ansys Workbench and APDL scripts. Coding proficiency in a common scripting language (e.G
