The Senior Systems Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing information systems to support the business operations and decision-making processes.
Systems Analysts are working in tandem with Data Architects and Systems Architects.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of IT systems, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Responsibilities: Lead the analysis, design, testing, and deployment of information systems to meet the needs and goals of stakeholders.
Manage the system development life cycle (SDLC) to ensure the system meets quality, security, and performance standards.
Gather and document system requirements and specifications from stakeholders.
Develop and present system architecture and design proposals to management.
Coordinate and supervise the system development team.
Conduct and oversee system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Provide training and support to system users.
Resolve any issues or feedback from users.
Evaluate and recommend improvements or enhancements to existing or new systems.
Lead and coordinate teams in the development and integration of information, communication, messaging, disaster recovery, and security architecture, and software.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior resources in defining, implementing, and enforcing standards to align with departmental priorities.
Review project proposals and requests for quality and security criteria acceptance, providing direction and clarification to project teams on adherence to standards and best practices.
Design comprehensive and clear documentation for system requirements, design specifications, and process flows.
Maintain and update documentation as systems and processes evolve to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.
Analyze integration requirements and document relevant integrations.
Fundamentals: 5+ years of experience in system analysis, design, development, and implementation; Proficient in Public Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) with at least 3 years of experience; Knowledgeable about different system architectures, models, standards, and best practices; Strong expertise in documentation practices and tools; Experience in UML; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Experience with microservices, kubernetes, REST, Message Brokers, NoSQL, caches, network middlewares; Basic understanding of Python; Basic SQL knowledge; Experience collaborating effectively across organizational boundaries, building relationships, and importing and exporting ideas to achieve broad organizational goals.
