Region MED > SBU MED Service > SCADA Technical Support
Regional Support is responsible for overviewing, implementing and managing SCADA systems. The department collaborates with internal stakeholders and Vestas clients within Vestas MED. It provides state-of-the-art leading technology in monitoring, control and data acquisition systems for the wind technology which covers and provides any SCADA related support to the Construction and Service Departments.
Responsibilities Level 1 support for SCADA and IT systems in windfarmsPlatform troubleshooting, server hardware and softwareProvide remote support to service technicians in on-site operationsProvide and keep updated internal ticketing toolsTechnical DocumentationQualifications Technical education in IT, Electronics or similarExperience in server operating systems, Linux and SQL serversExperience in VMwareKnowledge and experience of networking and their configurationPLC programming and communication protocols (IEC,104, IEC101, MODBUS, DNP, OPC) is a plusValid driver's licenseHighly structured and well organizedProactive and result-orientedComfortable with working in a high-paced and highly dynamic environmentProven analytical and problem-solving skillsTeam working orientedHigh attention to detail and a solid commitment to qualityHigh level of English spoken and writtenNative Portuguese speakerWhat we offer
