JOB DETAILS: Position: SAP Project Manager
Location: Lisbon or Oporto
Experience Level: Senior (+5 years)
DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES: As an SAP Project Manager , you will:
Utilize project management tools and methodologies to deliver projects on time, on budget, and within scope.
Plan, direct, coordinate, execute, and control activities and resources for new and ongoing Finance Transformation projects, adhering to SDLC standards.
Ensure project timelines, budgets, policies, and strategies align with organizational goals.
Leverage deep knowledge of SAP Financials and the Finance/Treasury domain to lead cross-functional teams and achieve project objectives.
Drive alignment and collaboration within local and global teams, effectively managing diverse, cross-functional stakeholders.
Monitor project performance against targets, implementing corrective actions when needed.
Communicate regularly with business and IT partners, providing daily, weekly, and ad hoc project updates and dashboards to IT/Business PMO and leadership.
REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with expertise in SAP Financials and familiarity with SDLC methodologies.
Proven ability to manage Finance/Treasury transformation projects in complex environments.
Strong knowledge of SAP systems, including Finance modules, with a strategic understanding of their integration in global organizations.
Experience leading global cross-functional teams and delivering results in a collaborative environment.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a results-driven mindset.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Certifications (Preferred): PM/PMP, FPX, or equivalent project management certification.
Six Sigma or Process Excellence certification.
